Job Description:
Essential job functions:
Coordinates the design analysis and validation of major engineering projects.
Releases advance product components or line of products.
Diagnoses and corrects deficiencies.
Provides technical direction to support personnel.
Coordinates supportive build programs.
Coordinates test and/or development programs.
Coordinates engineering projects with other departments or vendors.
Maintains communication with vendors and/or customers on a regular basis.
Prepare technical data such as qualification test procedures acceptance test procedures reports component maintenance manuals etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Education required:
Bachelors degree Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Education preferred:
Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
Required knowledge skills and abilities:
3 years experience in product engineering
Proficient in oral and written business communication
Ability to generate clear and concise formal presentations
High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult
Deep understanding of engineering theory and principles of design
Ability to work independently and with others
In-depth knowledge of automatic transmission operation clutches controls (both hydraulic and electrical) hydraulics & gears
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Must be a U.S. Person or individual otherwise eligible to be authorized to work with export-controlled items or data or perform services on military vehicles.
