Qualifications :

• High school graduation or GED equivalent;
• At least one year of experience is required in a wastewater or drinking water treatment plant in excess of 4 MGD capacity (wastewater experience is preferred) or in a large industrial facility
• A valid drivers license at the time of application and a valid Colorado drivers license within 30 days of employment
• Must also meet one of the following:

1. At least two years of college level electronics training which included technical training in the area of electrical controls; or
2. At least 5 years of industrial electronics/controls experience; or
3. An equivalent combination of education training and experience

Certification as a Colorado Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator is highly desirable.
