Job Summary
Lewis Rice LLC a large St. Louis law firm has an opening for a Corporate Paralegal. This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. A minimum of three years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. The hours of this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans 401(k) plan and paid parking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting attorneys with the preparation of corporate documents and materials
Working directly with attorneys and clients in connection with corporate transactions and closings
Conducting corporate entity and ownership research
Supporting a variety of corporate transactions and matters
Preparing and conducting UCC filings and searches
Navigating Secretary of State offices and other governmental agency procedures
Assisting with other special projects and administrative tasks as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:
This position requires an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
A minimum of three years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred
