We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rehab team on 1st shift weekends. This role supports our short-term rehab residents by providing clinical oversight coordinating care and helping residents progress toward recovery in a warm resident-centered environment.

Position Details

• Part-Time
• 1st Shift: Saturday & Sunday
• 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.
• Rehab Unit (10-bed unit)
• Included Weekend premium bonus

Position Summary

In this role you will provide nursing care and oversight within our Rehab unit supporting residents recovering from surgery illness or hospitalization. Youll work closely with CNAs therapy teams and fellow nurses to ensure residents receive excellent clinical care while maintaining comfort dignity and safety.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys relationship-based care in a smaller supportive rehab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and oversight for rehab residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
• Collaborate with therapy staff CNAs and the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately and thoroughly
• Respond to resident needs incidents and emergencies as needed
• Support infection control and safety standards
• Help create a positive supportive environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN or LPN license
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in rehab skilled nursing long-term care or assisted living preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Passion for working with older adults
