About the Role

We areseekinga skilled and dedicated individualforthe role of Head of Integrity. Working closely with the General Manager Legal & Integrity this full-time permanent positionis responsible forleadinga whole-of-sport integrity framework ensuringall netball participants particularlychildren andvulnerablepeopleare safeincluded and position will overseepolicy education and complaint management including confidential investigations while fostering a culture of integrity accountability and sporting industry best practice across all levels of netball in Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadingand embeddingNetball Australias integrity strategy driving a strong values-ledcultureand managing integrity risks reporting and continuous improvement across all levels of the sport.
  • Overseeingthe Integrity Policy Frameworkand governance processesand registers ensuring alignment with the National Integrity Framework legislative requirements and best practice whilemonitoringregulatory changes and emerging threats.
  • Managingallintegritycomplaints and investigations end-to-end including breach notices reports tribunal matters and stakeholder support ensuring fair transparent and compliant outcomes nationwide.
  • Leadingcore integrity portfolios including safeguarding and child safety member protection conduct inclusion anti-doping and anti-corruption (including betting match-fixing and integrity agreements) ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.
  • Designinganddeliveringintegrity education programs that build awareness capability andbehaviouralchange across participants workforce andourMember Organisations.
  • Ensuringthe integrity of competitions including player contracting payments and compliance with competition rules and frameworks.
  • Buildingandmaintainingstrong relationships with Member Organisations clubs and key stakeholders including Sport Integrity Australia regulators law enforcement and industry partners.
  • Supportinggovernance reporting funding opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to strategic and operational priorities.

About You

We are looking for someone whopossessesthe following:

  • Alignment to our NA Values Belong Be Bold Be Your Best;
  • A minimum of5-7years experience in investigation law or sports governanceor a related field;
  • Extensive experience in strategic leadership developing and implementing integrity frameworks governance systems compliance policies and supporting board-level reporting;
  • Strongexpertisein investigations risk management applying procedural fairness in sensitive/complex matters;
  • Sound understanding of anti-corruption practices stakeholder engagement with regulatory and wagering bodies and oversight of integrity risks;
  • Familiarity with anti-doping frameworks and experience working with organisations such as Sport Integrity Australia as well as knowledge of sports science/medical governance requirements;
  • Proven experience in safeguarding member protection and conduct management across sporting landscape or similar environments;
  • Strong knowledge of competition integrity including player contracts salary caps and compliance with rules and regulations;
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement communication and advisory skills withproven experience workingeffectively with senior leadership boards and external partners;
  • Tertiary qualifications in law will be highly desirable but not essential.

The role is based at Netballs Head Office in Fitzroy/ the unique nature of the sports industry and the domestic & global reach of ourorganisation travelling and working outside oftraditional office hours may berequired.
