Sales Manager CGS
Job Summary
- To define the CGS UK & Ireland Sales plan in conjunction with the Head of CGS UK & Ireland
- To deliver sales targets to meet individual and team target
- Ensure prudent Commercial Underwriting of Credit Insurance Business adhering to Commercial underwriting standards and delegations
- To develop the relationship between Coface and its brokers and other intermediaries.
- To maximise the opportunities for all product lines thereby maximising contribution.
- To collaborate with the Marketing team to make the most effective use of the resource for campaigns/events.
- Develop the relationships between Coface its brokers and other intermediaries by ensuring the successful candidate and the team work pro-actively to visit plans
- To work closely with the Commercial Operations team to deliver timely and efficient service to prospects clients and brokers.
KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery of targets in respect of New Business and profitability of our credit insurance book and cross-selling of our other products.
- Delivery of target revenue.
- Budget and target setting and monitoring.
- Maintain and develop relationships with brokers to maximise new business generation.
- Explore opportunities to develop additional business from assigned key accounts.
- To champion the use of the CRM systems.
- Support to other Commercial Teams to assist in the delivery of company objectives.
- Support colleagues across the Global solutions team as and when required.
- Commercial Underwriting of Credit Insurance Business adhering to Group and UK Standards and Delegations.
- Undertake due diligence and a thorough Know Your Customer check (per Coface definition) of prospects and clients before a sale is recorded and documents issued.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years experience in the TCI market.
- Degree educated in Finance Business Administration Economics or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Credit Insurance Industry.
- Ability to work well within in a team and independently.
- Very good organisational skills and the ability to plan effectively.
- Excellent understanding of how global solutions corporations are structured and their relevant credit insurance requirements.
- Proven experience of consistently delivering to targets and goals.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the current economic climate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
