Data Platform and Engineering within GDIA is seeking a highly organized Product Line Program Manager to drive operational excellence and team flow within our data engineering this role you will serve as a critical partner to Engineering Managers facilitating Agile ceremonies optimizing team capacity and ensuring Jira remains a high-integrity source of truth for all delivery work. You will champion program standards and compliance by proactively managing dependencies risks and financial accuracy while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through streamlined planning cycles. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented facilitator who can balance rigorous process management to ensure the delivery of high-value platform and data solutions at scale.

What youll do...

  • Standardize Program Management Practices: Champion and enforce consistent program management standards across the Data Platform & Engineering organization promoting alignment efficiency and transparency
  • Collaborate and Align with Product Teams: Work closely with a team of program managers and multiple product line teams daily to implement the operating model and reporting standards
  • Drive Process Adherence and Knowledge Capture: Drive adherence to program management processes ensuring that all relevant artifacts are consistently captured and stored for future reference and auditability.
  • End-to-End Application Understanding: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Data Platform & Engineering organization landscape to proactively identify and address blockers gaps and dependencies in collaboration with the relevant teams.
  • Facilitate Iteration and Quarterly Planning: Utilize Jira to effectively manage the iteration and quarterly planning process for multiple product teams ensuring smooth execution and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure that team commitments are accurately reflected in the program management tool (Jira) providing a single source of truth for project status and progress.
  • Ensure Epic Quality: Validate that Epics are well-defined and that estimates are accurate with continuous refinement as new requirements emerge leading to more predictable delivery.
  • Manage Scope Risks and Issues: Diligently enter and track scope changes issues and risks within Jira adhering to program guidelines to ensure transparency and proactive mitigation.
  • Resolve Billing Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies identified by the finance team within Jira ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree in business management or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of Program Management experience
  • 2 years of Software Delivery experience using Agile and/or Lean practices including defining and prioritizing product features and working with backlog management tools
  • 2 years of experience managing user requirements and user stories calculating stories tracking the delivery process and managing software projects using Rally or Jira or similar Agile Tools
  • Excellent communicator to stakeholders at different levels across diverse regional skill-teams
  • Ability to articulate complex information succinctly and accurately. Strong presentation skills.
  • Able to traverse and translate both technical and business language

This position is a salary grade 6 - salary grade 8 and ranges from $85400-$192900.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
