Position Overview
The role is responsible for preparing reviewing and analyzing federal and state tax returns for both individuals and businesses. This position also provides strategic tax planning support ensures compliance with current tax laws and delivers highquality guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review federal and state income tax returns prior to final partner approval.
- Prepare complex individual and business tax returns.
- Conduct account analyses and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Offer tax planning recommendations and identify taxefficient strategies.
- Work directly with clients to gather documentation and address questions.
- Stay informed on changes in tax laws to ensure accurate and compliant advice.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- CPA license preferred but not required.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in tax preparation review and reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical organizational and detailoriented skills.
