Job Summary
- Analyze manufacturing throughput and identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and production flow
- Improve process yield by reducing unnecessary movement delays and rework throughout production operations
- Conduct time studies and process clocking analysis to optimize cycle times and labor utilization
- Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on layout optimization and waste reduction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and operational performance
- Evaluate current production layouts and recommend changes to improve efficiency material flow and throughput
- Identify root causes of production inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Monitor key manufacturing performance indicators and support data-driven decision-making
- Support process improvements across glass cutting glass polishing gluing and sealing operations
- Assist in developing standardized work instructions and best manufacturing practices
- Participate in process validation troubleshooting and implementation of operational improvements
- Promote a culture of safety operational excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience performing time studies process flow analysis and manufacturing optimization
- Knowledge of throughput analysis cycle time reduction and yield improvement strategies
- Experience with manufacturing layout design and workflow optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational bottlenecks
- Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with glass manufacturing processes such as cutting polishing gluing or sealing is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to safety quality and operational excellence
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
