About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Lead youll work across a broad range of engineering and operational activities supporting gas infrastructure projects and assets governed by AS4645 and AS2885 standards.
Youll play an important role in helping teams deliver safe reliable and efficient outcomes through technical support collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Engineering & Design Support
- Coordinate and support engineering design activities across multiple disciplines
- Participate in collaborative design reviews with stakeholders consultants and client representatives
- Assist with project planning resource coordination and design documentation
- Contribute to process improvement and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Support the development of technical standards procedures and best practices
Construction & Commissioning Support
- Provide technical guidance during project delivery and construction activities
- Assist with commissioning and operational handover of new assets
- Support field inspections testing troubleshooting and quality activities
- Work closely with operational teams to identify practical and effective engineering solutions
Operational Engineering
- Support maintenance and operational teams with technical engineering advice
- Assist in developing sustainable and cost-effective maintenance strategies
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Safety Quality & Compliance
- Champion a strong safety-first culture
- Participate in Safety in Design reviews and compliance activities
- Assist with HSEQ documentation reporting and audit activities
- Support the delivery of safe inclusive and high-quality project outcomes
About You
Wed love to hear from you if you are:
- Degree qualified in Engineering / Ideally come from a Civil background
- A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with others
- Organised adaptable and eager to learn
- Passionate about safety continuous improvement and delivering quality outcomes
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard engineering systems
- Holder of a current drivers licence with willingness to attend occasional site visits
Experience within energy utilities infrastructure or construction environments is welcomed but not essential.
