Why Maritime

Maritime is one of the most technically demanding and leastdigitisedindustries in the world. The systems we build have real operational impact vessel management fleet intelligence port operations. Very few developers have experience in this space which makes it genuinely rare on your CV.

How theProgrammeWorks

The academy runs for threemonthseach built around a core milestone:

• Module 1 Rapid Developer:LearnMendixfrom the ground up. Domain modeling microflows pages navigation and basic integrations through the officialMendixAcademy Rapid Developer path.

• Module 2 Intermediate Developer:Go deeper. Advanced logic security custom JavaScript and Java actions performance and theMendixAcademy Intermediate Developer certification. During Modules 1 and 2 you begin building your own maritime project in parallel.

• Module 3 Project & Final Presentation:Complete yourMendixapplication and present it to theAmdarisdevelopment team. Real deliverable. Real audience.

Every participant is guided by a mentor and has full access toAmdarislearning materials from day one.

The work itself includesMendixdevelopment but also integrations with external APIs database design and front-end work. The focus is on building a real application that can be deployed and used in the maritime domain.

Thats why we are looking for developers with a strong foundation in programming and a willingness to learnMendix rather than prior experience with the platform itself.

What Were Looking For

• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience with JavaScript TypeScript or Java these are used directly for custom actions inMendix

• Good understanding of OOP principles C# Python Kotlin and other OOP languages are equally welcome

• Basic PostgreSQL or relational database experience

• Low-code experience (Mendixor other platforms) is a bonus not a requirement

• Collaborative mindset willingness to learn and English at B1 level or above

• Based in Bucharest or able to work from Bucharest for the duration of theprogramme
