The Opportunity:We are seeking a Preschool Teachers Aide to join our team at our Lincoln Center location (935 Maple Ave Downers Grove IL) toassistwith our preschool classrooms ages 2-4. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a daycare or preschool setting and a passion for early childhood education. The Preschool Teachers Aide willassistthe lead teachers supervise children and create a nurturing and acceptingenvironmentfor all students.
Pay:The range for this part-time position is $18-$20 per hour.

Schedule:Part-time school year (mid-August through May) position (notto exceed1000 hours).This position will be expected to work the following schedule:
Monday Wednesday Friday 8:30-1:45pm

Tuesday Thursday 11:00am-1:45pm
Additional opportunities for floating hours or call-in substituting may be available outside of scheduled may be available during the summer months in theDistrictspreschool day camp program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assistin developing and implementing lesson plans
- Supervise children andensure their safety at all times
- Create a nurturing and acceptingenvironmentfor all students
- Understand and appreciate the diverse backgrounds and needs of each student
- Assistin the development of each childs social emotional and cognitive skills
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations and needs
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting or recreation setting with preschool-aged children
- Understanding of early childhood development and education
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with young children
