With a strong focus on innovation precisionand collaboration Parratech continues to grow and were looking for a skilled Estimator to join our Revenue team as part of this exciting journey.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager the Estimator plays a critical role in supporting business growth through the preparation of accurate competitive and compliant tenders. You will workclosely with internal stakeholders across Revenue Design & Engineering and Delivery as well as external clients consultants and vendors. This role is suited to a detaildriven professional who thrives in a technically focused fastpaced environment and enjoys contributing to winning projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse project drawings specifications and documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Develop detailed costings for materials labour equipment and subcontractor services
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders that meet all technical commercial and timeline requirements
- Compile and manage bid and contract documentation including schedules RFIs CDEs and registers
- Identify project risks relating to cost scope and delivery and contribute mitigation strategies
- Source and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure best value outcomes
- Liaise with clients to clarify scope respond to tender queries and provide updates
- Maintain and improve estimating databases tools and historical cost information
- Ensure all estimates comply with relevant standards regulations and industry best practice
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies cost control and project delivery
- Experience with estimating software and tools
- 5 years estimating experience in electrical mechanical and/or fire services within manufacturing construction or consulting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Selfmotivated with a high level of integrity professionalism and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadlinedriven environment
