- Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration/Logistics and/or Qualified Chartered Accountant - advantageous
- Minimum 8 years leadership experience managing multi-functional teams
- Proven experience in driving operational and financial performance
- Experience managing regulatory compliance and customs risk
- Experience leading transformation automation or operational improvement initiatives
- Experience managing customer relationships and business development
- Experience managing large-scale operational or regional logistics functions
Knowledge and skills:
- Strategic risk and compliance management
- Commercial and pricing strategy development

Key Performance Areas:
- Responsible for providing strategic leadership governance oversight and operational direction to the International Logistics division
- The role ensures sustainable growth client retention operational excellence regulatory compliance risk management and financial performance across all regions and functional areas
- Lead a multidisciplinary leadership team responsible for customs operations regional operations forwarding Africa expansion transport strategy project cargo financial management SHERQ compliance human capital development and business process optimization
- The role drives innovation automation and continuous improvement to enhance productivity competitiveness and profitability while ensuring compliance with customs regulations ISO standards and corporate governance frameworks
- Serves as the custodian of operational performance customer value delivery and risk governance ensuring the division remains resilient scalable compliant and strategically positioned for long-term growth
