  • Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration/Logistics and/or Qualified Chartered Accountant - advantageous
  • Minimum 8 years leadership experience managing multi-functional teams
  • Proven experience in driving operational and financial performance
  • Experience managing regulatory compliance and customs risk
  • Experience leading transformation automation or operational improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing customer relationships and business development
  • Experience managing large-scale operational or regional logistics functions

Key Performance Areas:

  • The role ensures sustainable growth client retention operational excellence regulatory compliance risk management and financial performance across all regions and functional areas
  • Lead a multidisciplinary leadership team responsible for customs operations regional operations forwarding Africa expansion transport strategy project cargo financial management SHERQ compliance human capital development and business process optimization
  • The role drives innovation automation and continuous improvement to enhance productivity competitiveness and profitability while ensuring compliance with customs regulations ISO standards and corporate governance frameworks
  • Serves as the custodian of operational performance customer value delivery and risk governance ensuring the division remains resilient scalable compliant and strategically positioned for long-term growth
