Job Summary
Shop Helper
Job Summary: AllTex Personnel is seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support operations across various client sites. This role involves manual labor tasks such as loading unloading material handling and assisting skilled tradespeople. Ideal candidates are physically fit safety-conscious and ready to contribute in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials tools and equipment
- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and hazards
- Assist skilled workers (e.g. welders machinists electricians) with tasks
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Support inventory and delivery operations
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and perform physical labor
- Willingness to work in varying weather and industrial conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in warehouse construction or manufacturing preferred
- A valid drivers license may be required depending on duties
- Bilingual A plus
- Live no more than 20 minutes from the company

Schedule & Pay:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch break
- Starting pay: $14.00/hour East Houston location

- PPE: Steel-toe shoes Back support box cutter/knife safety glasses and gloves
