Location: Roermond & Maastricht Netherlands
Work Model: Hybrid (Monday fixed office day in Roermond; additional onsite presence required as needed)

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Support Officer Document Management to support infrastructure and environmental projects in the Southern Netherlands region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining digital and physical project archives ensuring accurate document handling compliance and accessibility within project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain digital and physical project archives
- Ensure correct processing storage and retrieval of project documentation
- Support document control and archiving processes in compliance with legal and organizational standards
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and email administration
- Coach and support project staff regarding document management procedures and responsibilities
- Ensure metadata organization valuation and selection standards are maintained
- Support project coordination communication and administrative activities
- Work closely with project teams to improve information management practices
Requirements
- Completed MBO qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in document management or archive management
- Experience with MS Office Hummingbird and/or SharePoint
- Strong Dutch communication skills both written and spoken
- Ability to work onsite in Roermond and occasionally Maastricht
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the Dutch Archives Act
- Experience within the public sector or government projects
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive customer-oriented and results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

- Hybrid working model with regular onsite presence required
- Candidates must be flexible regarding onsite meetings and collaboration
- This role is not open to freelancers or self-employed contractors
