Job Summary
Receiving Associate
Work Hours: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM or 1PM -10PM
Position Overview
The Receiving Associate plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of materials into the warehouse. This position is responsible for unloading shipments inspecting incoming materialsparticularly electrical componentsand maintaining precise inventory records. A strong eye for detail and commitment to safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive unload and verify all incoming shipments
- Inspect materials for accuracy damage and correct part numbers
- Update inventory systems and apply proper labeling
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain a clean organized and safe receiving area
- Cycle counting
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
- Ability to lift to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with electrical parts is a plus
- Must have steeltoe shoes
