Job Summary
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor
Location: Manitowoc WI 54220
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will lead the shipping and receiving team to process receiving orders and coordinate shipping deliveries. This position is part of a team driven to identify develop and deliver innovative solutions and driven to constantly improve process capability to optimize production volumes of quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the material handling shipping and receiving personnel.
- Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Receive and process material orders daily including accepting labelling and distributing deliveries internally
- Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily including boxing goods addressing packages and staying in contact with shipping companies
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large items
- Maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients who are receiving goods
- Other duties as requested
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Plex ERP or similar
Shift and pay
- This is a first shift salary position with a 45 hour work week
- Pay is based on experience
