Position Summary

A motivatedHR Internis needed to join the PROENERGY HR team for an immersive 8-week summer program.

Reports To:Human Resources Generalist

Work Location:2001 Proenergy Blvd Sedalia MO 65301

Position Responsibilities

Post jobs screen resumes and schedule interviews.
Assist with new hires and orientation process.
Maintain digital files and ensure compliance.
Conduct internal process audits.
Support internal events and employee engagement initiatives.
Research and present a solution for a specific HR challenge.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field.
Enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program or a current graduate student.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional candidate outreach and internal presentations.
Proficiency in office productivity software (specifically spreadsheets and presentation tools) and a high level of comfort learning new software.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with total discretion.
Must be able to speak read and write English fluently.
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Key Competencies

Previous internship or office experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
