Position Summary:This position will managedaily general ledger accounting activity as well asreconciliations and reporting for multiplepartnershipsin operationand development.
The rate of pay for this position is $65000 - $70000 per year (FLSA Exempt) commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger and reporting responsibilities for variouspartnershipsbusinesses
  • Record cash receiptsand reoccurring entries plusmanage fixed assets andlong-termdebt schedules in support ofongoinggeneral ledgeraccuracy.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial status reports plusanalyze andexplain budgetvariances.
  • Review and code monthly construction and development invoices fordevelopmentprojects.
  • Work closely withconstructionteam to ensure that all compliance documentation is collected before vendor checks arereleased.
  • Prepare work papers and audit schedules for the annual audit and tax return ofvariouspartnershipbusinesses.
  • Review draft auditfinancialreports and taxreturns.
  • Other duties asassigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
Education:
  • BA/BS in accounting

Experience:
  • 3to 5yearsof accounting experiencewith a focus on account reconciliation and program analysisfor construction or property management related industries.

Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills that reflectabilityto perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention todetail.
  • Demonstratesproactiveapproach to problem solving with strong decision-makingcapability.
  • Proven ability tomanageconfidential information with discretion be adaptable to various competingdemandsanddemonstratethe highest level of customer service andresponse.
  • Strongpeopleskillsand the ability to build relationships with stakeholders includinginternal andexternalpartners.
  • Highly resourcefulteam-player with the ability to be effective independentlyprioritize conflictingneedshandle matters expeditiously proactively and follow-through onprojects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.
  • Proficiencywith computers especially bookkeeping software and MS Office
  • Strong understanding of accountingprinciples
Preferred:
  • Three to five years ofconstruction or property management accountingLIHTC experiencea plus
  • CPA
Critical Competencies:
  • Detailorientedefficientandaccurate.
