Gis Analyst II

ReNuke Services is seeking a GIS Analyst II for our clients site in Charlotte NC

DESCRIPTION:

Fully onsite for training period potential for hybrid schedule after training.

Saint Petersburgh
Raleigh
Cincinnati (Specifically Dana Ops Center)

The GIS Analyst II will support enterprise GIS operations by querying analyzing and visualizing spatial data to support business engineering and operational needs. This role requires a strong working knowledge of GIS concepts data integrity and spatial analysis with the ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyze spatial and attribute data to support planning operations and decision-making.
* Produce complex maps reports and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
* Support ongoing GIS projects including data updates application enhancements and process improvements.
* Work closely with engineers analysts and other business partners to interpret requirements and deliver GIS solutions.
* Ensure data accuracy consistency and compliance with governance and documentation standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data issues related to GIS applications and datasets.
* Assist with integration of GIS data with other enterprise systems as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelors degree in GIS Geography Geospatial Science Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
* 35 years of professional GIS experience.
* Proficiency with ESRI GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Portal)
* Strong understanding of spatial data models coordinate systems and SQL querying and databases.
* Experience in performing data validation quality control and metadata management.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience supporting GIS work in a utility infrastructure or large enterprise environment.
* Experience with ESRI Utility Network software.
* Familiarity with GIS data related to assets facilities or network-based systems.
* Experience with scripting or automation (e.g. Python ArcPY Arcade)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
