Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department. This position involves various tasks related to parts pulling maintaining inventory forklift operation etc.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory manage stock levels do daily reporting.
- Load and unload products using forklifts as necessary.
- Build and organize pallets for efficient storage and distribution.
- Ensure that all materials are handled safely and efficiently adhering to best practices in materials handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Manage return claims.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong computer skills are a must.
- Excel experience preferred.
