Multidisciplinary team approach in providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients. A six-bed intermediate care stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care. Ideal candidates could have a background of PCU IMC Trauma SDU. Travelers would not be required to see the Peds patients. It is possible that the unit could use a traveler for floor beds only this will be discussed at : Floor RN: 1:5 / SDU: 1:3Orientation/Start Dates held every other week on Thursday2 Years of RN Experience Required; 1 Year in-specialty Experience required1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma36 or 48hr contract optionsEvery other weekend requiredBLS ACLS Fit Test CPI (Travelers can get CPI done with Qualivis) TNCC preferredSkill Requirements: IV Start Vents Telemetry Level 1 Trauma Experience Conscious SedationClinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needsOpen to accommodating blocked schedule requests100mi.
