Job Description
We are seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a supportive outpatient oncology clinic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a first-time traveler to join a collaborative team that values and supports travel staff.
The ideal candidate will have infusion therapy experience oncology certification and strong patient care skills in an outpatient clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer oncology infusions and related treatments
- Perform port draws and assist with infusion-related procedures
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to adverse reactions as needed
- Operate and manage infusion equipment including:
- Alaris Infusion Pumps
- CADD Ambulatory Pumps
- Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary oncology care teams
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology RN experience required
- Oncology certification required:
- ONCC or ONS
- BLS certification required
- EPIC experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
