St. Georges is a small nurturing school with a strong family feel. We provide the highest possible standards for children in our care. St. Georges serves the Parishes of Warminster Westbury and the surrounding villages. Although a Catholic Voluntary Aided school children and their families of all faiths and beliefs are welcome and are currently enjoying the benefits of our school. An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to be part of our team at St Georges Catholic Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a HLTA role part time 5 mornings per week (to be discussed at interview) for September 2026. This is a permanent HLTA post to mainly cover Curriculum Release time staff courses staff absence as well as covering classes as and when it arises.

Our school has a family feel and values highly its Catholic ethos. This role is designed for an energetic and dynamic candidate who can inspire the children in their care and work successfully alongside the team. We can be found on the outskirts of Warminster fully accessible by the D1 bus and the local train lines. If you are passionate about supporting children to achieve their potential in a calm way this is the right post for you.

The Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role is designed for an energetic and dynamic candidate who is;

  • Have GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics essential
