In this role theSubregional Supplier Quality Managerwill have a double function of Team Leader and SQE:
Team Leader Role
Deploy Supplierquality policy.Manage activities and execute action plan to drive supplier quality team to meet team or departmentKPIs.
1st line manager ofassigned teamof Supplier Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Inspectors. Developing specializeddepth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness oflatest functional developments inmanagedarea. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery withinarea of responsibility
Be resource for team on technical problemsolvingproject management
Lead execution of qualificationand resolve quality issue for team
Drive Planned Inspection Program Execution and on time reporting or tools and tracker assuring discipline ofSupplier Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Inspectorsand high level of say/do ratio.
To be main contact point on assignedteamand align with regionalsupplier quality manager projectquality projectmanagers andsourcing
LeadMediumto complexprojects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information
Works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field
SQE Role
Develop and monitorsupplier quality onassigned equipment/productfrom supplierqualificationphase to final inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality requirements before shipment release
New Supplier Evaluation / on boarding - Rigorously execute the supplier evaluation process including quality & compliance audits / assessments to ensure that only appropriately qualified suppliers are taken through the process. Work with sourcing/commodity team to meet business objectives of new supplier additionand provide input to technical tender analysis
Lead Supplier Qualification with partnership withprocurementengineeringproject quality
Prepare Supplier Quality Documents for project suchQuality Control Plan (QCP)ITPL(InspectionTestingPlan)Product Testing procedure
Perform FAT(FactoryAcceptanceTest)PSI(Pre-Shipmentinspection) packaging inspections when required.
Organizing / performing inspections at suppliers and ensuringproductquality compliance.
Develop surveillance audits plan and execute to assure that suppliers have effective process control rigorous product acceptance standards and robust quality systems
Own SRG (Safety/Health/EnvironmentSupplier Responsibility Guidelines) metrics for the assigned suppliers and conduct SRG audits per the region audit plan(where applicable)
ManageSupplier Deviation Request (SDR)Non-ConformanceReport (NCR)& Root Cause Analysis (RCA)for nonconformitiescausedbysuppliersand lead resolution of complexcross-functionalquality issuesforsevere NCR/RCA
Review and approve supplier End of Manufacturing Reports and give release for shipment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelors degree inMechanical orElectricalor MetallurgyEngineering
- Significant experience/familiar withpoweroil&gas
- ProvenSkilled influencer able to communicate complex messages to others
- Proven ability to lead project and project management skilland responsible for the overall implementation of quality control related to specification and international code & standard
- Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to useWordExcelPowerPoint
- Englishlanguagesproficiency
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally at short notice
