Job Description:
The Department of World Languages Literatures & Cultures at Louisiana State University is searching for an instructor of Classics to teach beginning and intermediate Latin and Greek classes and Classical Studies courses in translation beginning in August 2026. A Masters degree in Classics or related field is required but a PhD is preferred. The teaching load is 12 credit hours a semester which equates to three or four courses a term. The position is for one year but there is a possibility of renewal. Consideration of applications will begin May 18 2026.
