Job Summary

What Operations Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function

Responsibilities

  • Direct and motivate employees to ensure compliance with GMP OSHA EPA and other regulations.
  • Maintain annual financial responsibility for various departments.
  • Supervise areas of Manufacturing Raw Materials Whse. &learn/support as back up to BNS operation.
  • Maintain Productivity Analysis for all areas of responsibility.
  • Provides training and continual coaching on process improvements for all areas.
  • Special Projects and other task as assigned.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible for abiding by all company and regulatory environmental health and safety requirements.
  • Support various employee activities throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years related experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Advancedknowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business support staff
  • Administers and executes policies and procedures
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
  • Frequently interacts with subordinates customers and peer groups at various management levels
  • Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
