Job Description
- This is a contracted appointment that may last up to two years in duration. Paid internships occur throughout the State of Michigan.
This position provides administrative support to the Office of Aeronautics. Responsibilities include preparing routine correspondence based on instructions and reviewing documents forms applications and other materials for accuracy completeness grammar and proper formatting. The role also involves organizing maintaining and purging files and documents as needed.
Additional duties include preparing invoices bills receipts statements and other financial documents for processing; answering incoming telephone calls; and managing incoming and outgoing mail. This position performs typing assignments and operates standard office equipment. It also retrieves and compiles data prepares reports and interprets instructions and guidelines to resolve work-related issues.
The role manages databases including electronic files and is responsible for scheduling conference rooms and the auditorium. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

To be considered for this position you must:
- Must be an honorably discharged veteran.
