Groundskeeper OIDD Coastal

• Mows grass weekly during peak season picks up trash along the fence surrounding the campus keeps grounds free of all limbs and debris trims all bushes and hedges as needed and cleans flower beds.
• Maintains equipment by doing daily preventive maintenance and keeps equipment free of debris by washing and blowing down equipment daily.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience in groundskeeping and maintenance work that is directly related to the area of employment. A Valid Drivers License.

2 years working experience.

Physical requirements: balancing stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance grasping hearing repetitive motions driving (including nights) counting and working over as required.

Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment. Knowledge of personnel practices in state government. Skill in the use of cleaning tools and equipment. Ability to keep accurate written records. Ability to train new employees in the proper performance of their duties.
