The Civil Industry is busier than ever with an increase in major projects across Victoria and we are seeking a qualified Civil Construction trainer to support the ongoing growth and success of our market and industry leading RTO.
The role:
Metro-based full-time short course trainer/assessor (assisting with Apprentices) when
ideally you will have training experience with:
- Civil construction qualified Austroads TTM Traffic Management and Certificate III level apprenticeships & traineeships an advantage
Capability in training the following is also highly valued and desired:
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision
- Range of civil short courses including but not limited to Confined Spaces Trenching and Shoring EWP Spotters or any other industry leading qualifications or courses

To be considered for the role you will have:
- Experience delivering TTM Traffic Management training approved under Austroads (TC1-TMI1)
- Notable industry experience in a civil construction industry sector. Ideally you will hold current and formal qualifications in civil/water or equivalent trade.
- Evidence of current industry skills knowledge and experience (ideally you will be able to provide a skills matrix).
- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (as listed in the Standards for RTOs)
The following skills and experience are required to be successful in this role:
- The ability to plan develop and evaluate training and assessment tools
- An extensive knowledge of competency based training as it relates to the civil construction industry
- Experience in online training platforms (highly desirable)
- A thorough understanding of apprenticeship and trainee delivery requirements (highly desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail (essential)
- Understanding of the ASQA AQTF and RTO guidelines and audit compliance requirements
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience using Student Management Systems (VETtrak desirable)
- The ability to be the face of CCF during client meetings and briefings

Location
The role will be based in multiple locations and will be required to work flexibly and to travel to deliver and assess training across both regional and metropolitan Victoria.
