Senior Auditor

Our client is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing statutory audits from planning through completion while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.

Location: On-site Mosta

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Auditor your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Manage statutory audits for medium to large companies from planning to completion

• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients

• Prepare financial statements in line with the applicable accounting framework

• Complete audit documentation and reporting to those charged with governance including management letters where applicable

• Supervise and coach Audit Associates during engagements

• Assist with the induction and on-the-job training of junior team members

• Support other audit-related projects as required

Requirements:

• University degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification

• 23 years of relevant work experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office tools

• Ability to work independently prioritise workload and manage deadlines effectively
