Independent Chef

We are the Chinese-Indonesian Restaurant Peking and we are looking for a passionate Independent Chef I to join our kitchen team. Do you have a passion for cooking and enjoy a dynamic kitchen environment Then you would be a perfect fit! You will help prepare dishes and work closely with our kitchen team. Tasks

Your Responsibilities:

• Selecting and preparing (washing cutting mixing etc.)
• Conducting intermediate checks (doneness taste color etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
• Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
• Keeping track of stock levels ordering ingredients and checking deliveries.
• Daily cleaning of the work environment kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
• Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus the menu list and working methods

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• You take independent initiative and act solution-oriented.
• You work with conviction and dare to take responsibility.
• MBO-3 work and thinking level (If you dont meet the requirements apply anyway!)
• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
