- The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience analyzing policy requirements and drafting written policy in a federal environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:-
Policy Development:-
- Conduct research and analysis to identify policy needs.
- Draft new policies and procedures that address identified needs.
- Review and revise existing policies to ensure they are current and effective.
- Ensure policies comply with federal regulations and guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement:-
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and feedback on policy drafts.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to ensure broad participation in the policy-making process.
- Communicate policy changes and updates to relevant parties.
Policy Analysis:-
- Analyze the impact of proposed policies on the agency and its operations.
- Assess the effectiveness of current policies and recommend improvements.
- As necessary conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments for proposed policy changes.
Documentation and Reporting:-
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on policy analysis and recommendations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of policy development activities and decisions.
- Ensure all policy documentation is accurate clear and accessible.
Compliance and Implementation:-
- Monitor the implementation of new and revised policies.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure policies are applied consistently across the agency.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of policy implementation and make necessary adjustments.
