Job Summary

- Drive brand new top-of-the-line Kenworth trucks

- Must have a valid CDL
- Safely operate a company owned straight truck with flatbed for local supplier pickups and customer deliveries.
- Load secure and transport steel and other materials on flatbed equipment for outbound freight.
- Unload inbound steel and materials from flatbed and delivery vehicles.
- Comply with all DOT and company safety requirements including pre trip and post trip inspections.
- Perform routine vehicle care and promptly report maintenance needs.
- Perform rush or early deliveries when standard courier options are unavailable.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts pallet jacks etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain material handling equipment through pre use inspections and basic operator maintenance including battery watering as needed.
