Position: Lead Quality Engineer
Location: Bangalore (On-site/remote)

Role Overview
We are looking for Quality Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling OMS to work on an already implemented system. This role is focused on regression testing and validation of existing business workflows not greenfield development or pure functional testing. The candidate must be able to understand real-time business use cases analyze system behavior and independently derive test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Understand and validate existing business processes and workflows within IBM Sterling OMS
Perform regression testing aligned with current production use cases
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
Prepare and execute test plans focused on Regression Integration and Automation testing
Design write and execute test cases independently with minimal guidance
Work with APIs database tables and system flows to ensure end-to-end validation
Create validate and process Sterling OMS XML transactions
Develop and execute API and UI automation test cases (where applicable)
Collaborate with cross-functional and Mexico-based teams
Identify log and track defects using JIRA; validate fixes
Ensure quality in CI/CD pipeline executions
Publish test plans and status updates in Confluence
Provide feedback on system quality and usability during Agile ceremonies
(Lead QE) Mentor team members and contribute to planning and prioritization Mandatory Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling OMS (mandatory)
Deep product-level understanding of Sterling OMS (not just high-level exposure)
Experience working on implemented/production systems with real business flows
Strong expertise in: Sterling OMS XML creation and validation APIs and integrations Database tables and data validation
Proven experience in regression testing of enterprise applications
Strong understanding of current business processes and order management workflows
Ability to independently analyze systems identify gaps and derive test scenarios
Experience working across 5–6 end-to-end business projects
Ability to work with global teams (Mexico/US stakeholders preferred)
Self-driven proactive and capable of working with minimal supervision
