BOH Dishwasher (Seasonal Southampton)

Position Purpose: the dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes sheet pans pots pans utensils and baking equipment through manual and machine cleaning Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Wash sheet pans dishes glassware flatware pots and/or pans or all equipment used for production using dishwasher machine or by hand if garbage cans with water or steamMaintain kitchen work areas equipment and utensils in clean and orderly clean pans utensils and cooking equipment in the assigned storage and remove trash placing it in designated pickup and label all produce deliveries (dairy flour etc.)Deep cleaning of equipment ovens floors counters freezers & refrigerators and maintain grease trap (every few days as assigned and when needed)Clean the entire production area and other assigned areas of the bakery to include sweeping floor mopping and scrubbing polishing of dust from equipment additional cleaning tasks as assigned by manager or chef that include but are not limited to stairs sinks bathrooms mirrors toilet seats floors trashcans toilet paper stand and inventory of toilet Essential Requirements:The ability to work as part of a team and personal basic food handling preparation and cleaning skills are management and ability to work under pressure to manage high volume of to communicate and understand direction in English to ensure safety in the workplace.
