About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Visual Arts Teacher to join our friendly and professional academic staff team. Reporting to the Head of Visual Arts you will be responsible for engaging with students to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences that speak to the core values of the addition you will actively engage with and deliver the Colleges teaching and learning frameworks.

This is a full-time temporary position of up to one year.

About You

  • Ability to teach Stage 4 5 and 6 Visual Art
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
  • Experience working with animation and Motion Graphics would be desirable but not essential - the College is keen to discuss your own particular teaching specialties and interests with you.
  • Demonstrated excellence as a classroom teacher
  • Collegiate and a good team player
  • Actively support the Colleges Christian ethos
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
  • Regularpracticing member of a Christian church
