We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified ArtsAssistants to join our Technology and Arts Departments. This part-time position (0.4) requires the successful applicant to work on Mondays and Fridays during term time.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Arts and Technology Teachers ensuring the smooth delivery of curriculum.
• Ensure a safe and effective learning environment for students.
• Prepare and maintain arts technology equipment and materials.
• Assist with class demonstrations maintain workshops and classrooms order supplies prepare materials and equipment for practical classes and support classroom teachers in practical classes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Sketchup and Flash Print.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills with staff students and external organisations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Willingness and ability to work in a flexible manner within a team environment.
• Flexibility with working hours as these can change each semester based upon timetables.
• Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College and its mission to educate young people.
• A commitment to and knowledge of child safety policies and procedures.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Trustworthiness and honesty.
• A commitment to and knowledge of child safety policies and procedures.
• First Aid certificate preferred.
• Valid Working with Childrens Check or willingness to acquire one.
