Job Overview
Are you interested in capital markets Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) At the same time you like working with large amounts of data. Then you will very likely fit into our team!
Your Tasks
- Sourcing and analyzing M&A corporate action and price data.
- Working with various financial market data vendors (e.g. FactSet).
- Integration of data into a SQL database.
- Preparing back-tests of country benchmark indices.
- Active involvement in the development of market beta index concepts.
- Supporting with client requests.
Your Profile
- Enrolled student in Economics Finance Computer Science Mathematics or similar.
- Interest in stock markets index construction and ETF products.
- Basic understanding of financial market data corporate actions and their impact on indices.
- Competent user of MS-Office applications.
- Strong command of Excel (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH data manipulation).
- Experience with Python (Numpy pandas) and SQL knowledge of Git/Gitlab is advantageous.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Independent and structured working style.
- High level of enthusiasm creativity and teamwork.
- Excellent English skills.
- Ideally available for 6 months.
