Sr Test Manufacturing Engineer (Debug)
Job Summary
As an Sr Test Manufacturing Engineer (Debug) you will be responsible for diagnosing isolating and resolving complex hardware and software failures within our electronic products. Your role will often involve conducting root cause analysis to enhance product reliability. You will work with diagnostic tools schematics and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues particularly in production and validation environments.
This role is on-site and you will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You will be working from our location in Lugoj Romania following an on-site work schedule.
Core Responsibilities:
- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify issues at the component board (PCB/PCBA) and system levels.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Analyze failures to identify underlying causes and provide actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
- Technical Documentation: Document findings debugging procedures and test results to enhance future troubleshooting and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design and manufacturing engineering teams to resolve issues and improve design for testability (DFT).
- Tool Utilization: Operate specialized equipment including oscilloscopes logic analyzers and debuggers (e.g. JTAG).
- Process Improvement: Develop maintain and optimize debugging protocols and test procedures.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (upper intermediate speaking and writing).
Must Have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics debugging troubleshooting or similar roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic circuits and schematics.
- Strong ability to methodically identify faults and document failures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams and dynamic environments.
