Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Health and Safety and Compliance Lead for the Ohu Tāngata People and Performance Team. Based in Thames theKaiārahi Tikanga Haumaru Tūtohu Lead Health and Safety and Compliance Leadis responsible for ensuring the delivery of advice and services that meet the needs of the organisations legislative health and disability standards and safety obligations.
Employment Status: Full Time 32 hours per week/0.8 FTE
Key responsibilities include:
The development of our workforce to ensure that Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki meets the obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Ensuring that the Tikanga Haumaru service aligns with the organisation Tikanga (policies and procedures) Kaupapa (mission) Mātāpono (values) as well as all other contractual and regulatory requirements.
The provision of supervision support and leadership that fosters a collaborative environment embracing our principle of mā te kōrero urupare kātahi nā ka tika
or embracing feedback.- The provision of guidance to the Ohu Whakahaere (Senior Management Team) on health and safety obligations and operational processes.
