Revenue Manager (HFX)
Job Summary
As Revenue Manager you are an ambassador for our exceptional offerings of Le Louise Hotel Brussels. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management the Revenue Manager is responsible to support the hotel Commercial Strategy team with reporting and data analysis. The role also facilitates system maintenance tasks including but not limited to rate loading and inventory management maintenance of rate parity across all selling channels and content management. Due to Boutique hotel size of the property additional tasks are linked to eCommerce and proactive B2B accounts pro-active management.
What you will be doing :
Accurately generate and update various data-driven reports and serve as support for reporting and analytical needs of the Commercial team and ad-hoc project-based reports for senior leadership.
Manage the monthly forecasting process and creation of the annual budget and assist towards marketing plan documents as well as long term projections.
Assume ownership of some external reporting tools such as but not limited to Lighthouse TravelClick Demand360 and Agency360 Smith Travel Research (STR) CBRE.
Aids in content management in electronic channels liaises with hotel Marketing team to ensure regular updates of images and descriptions of hotel room brands outlets and services are completed.
Maintains close relationships with GRC to ensure the call center is up to date on the hotels information at all times.
Manages relationship with Distribution System Support team manages technical tickets and loading request follow ups.
Responsible for system maintenance including but not limited to rate loading overbooking restrictions management monitoring forecasted demand and running daily system checks. System expert within distribution RM and reporting platforms.
Maintain accurate guest room rates and inventory on all booking channels (brand websites OTAs Global Reservation Center etc.).
Participate in business review meetings and commercial strategy meetings.
Engage with the property reservations team to ensure effective communication and implementation of pricing strategies and offers.
Monitor changes in inventory and provide guidance on the impact of current strategies.
Perform Sales & Revenue month-end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting and strategizing.
In conjunction with the Group Reservations Manager monitor group block performance and cutoff dates to optimize performance.
Create reports presentations etc. and perform regular reviews of competitive hotels to compare and contrast guest room rates and offers meetings and events pricing and offers and other revenue-generating departments as applicable (restaurants bars spas etc.).
Maintain accuracy of information/data enhance automation efforts and continually improve techniques tools and technology to maximize productivity for self and colleagues.
Supports special projects within RM Distribution and Commercial Strategy focused on uncovering new revenue opportunities.
Manages specific B2B commercial segments.
Manages the Reservation Department.
Covers monthly Duty Manager shifts at property level.
Qualifications :
2 years experience as Revenue Manager is a must
