Sr Product Owner, SMART MFG & AI

As a Product Owner at Micron Technology Inc. you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines drives and delivers end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions integrated across functions of the business. The team applies industry-leading methodologies in automation artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI) to enhance Microns product development business and administrative processes across the company.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of apps for Smart Manufacturing.

• Identify gaps weaknesses and inefficiencies in current solutions including opportunities for AI-driven enhancements.

• Define business solutions and propose projects for implementation leveraging AI and GenAI technologies where applicable.

• Lead projects and activities requiring coordination support and management of resources from global teams.

• Use metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement including predictive analytics and intelligent decision support.

• Provide domain and system expertise; collaborate with data scientists to perform data analysis and identify opportunities on early technology development and yield ramp challenges using AI/ML models.

• Main initial focus of this position will be to support TD DRAM needs which includes: 1) Deployment and drive adoption of existing FE smart-manufacturing solutions; 2) Coordinate SMAI tactical support on current top DRAM TD challenges.

Requirements

• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years experience inProcess Integration Engineering (PIE) or Process Equipment Engineering (PEE) department.

• Possess strong domain knowledge of fab processes experienced in yield improvement activities.

• Good understanding and experience in early stage technology development

• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Experience in leading and managing project. Good program or project management skills.

• Excellent in communication team work and collaboration with other departments.

• Strong passion for Data Science (DS) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) with a strong interest in applying these technologies to smart manufacturing and yield improvement.
