Responsibilities
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations signing and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Identify and target new business opportunities for Oracle Data platform Cloud and license solutions across multiple industries to ensure coverage of the assigned territory.
Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate leads through customer engagement networking attending events and leveraging digital channels.
Qualify and prioritize leads to engage the most promising prospects for Oracle Data platform solutions.
Create and continuously update account management plans within the defined territory.
Engage with business and technical decision-makers using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs challenges and requirements regarding data platform management.
Provide tailored solutions by promoting Oracles suite of data platform cloud solutions (e.g. Oracle Autonomous Database Oracle Exadata Cloud) and on-premises database licenses.
Demonstrate how Oracles data platform cloud and license solutions can address specific customer pain points such as scalability performance security and cost optimization.
