Job Summary
What awaits you/ Job Profile | You will be responsible for the CAD design and concept development of Interior lighting components. The task of software configuration for interior lighting is to define and manage how lighting functions behave in the vehicle by translating design intentions and functional requirements into configurable software parameters. It ensures correct colors brightness levels animations and triggers are applied consistently across different vehicle variants and operating conditions. Overall it acts as the link between lighting design electrical/electronic architecture and the in-vehicle user experience. |
What should you bring along | Strong expertise in CAD design with a focus on structured and parametric modeling Development of parametrical CAD-models for later use in the concept development of instrument panel cross car beam center console door panels and components of interior light. Experience in virtual vehicle development and understanding of mechanical relationships Knowledge of common manufacturing methods for interior components Excellent communication skills to coordinate independently with interface partners Ability to manage and maintain data and documentation in accordance with BMW standards Must have technical skills. Very good skills in CATIA V5 especially in Generative Shape Design Part Design Drafting and Digital Mockup Proficient in creating CAD models in a structured and parametric way Good knowledge of the PRISMA database for publication and data management Experience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics tolerances and component identification in drawings.
