The ESA Business Accelerator Germany (ESA BAG) is a joint initiative of TUM Venture Labs UnternehmerTUM and acitoflux operating under mandate from DLR and ESA. The program supports Space scale-ups at a critical growth stage combining a structured curriculum with access to industry networks investors and strategic guidance on topics such as institutional relations compliance and capital strategy. As Project Manager you will serve as the central operational and strategic interface between the program scale-ups and the broader ecosystem directly contributing to turning deep-tech ideas into viable space ventures.

Your mission
Program & Project Management
- Operational management and execution of ESA BAG program processes in line with ESA Accelerator program standards
- Planning monitoring and tracking of project milestones resources and deliverables primarily using Notion
- Ensuring timely reporting and high-quality documentation for ESA and DLR
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders as the primary point of contact for project-related matters
Ecosystem & Industry Connectivity
- Building and activating strategic connections between program scale-ups and relevant industry partners corporates and co-development opportunities
- Development of the aerospace and geodesy startup community through targeted introductions to mentors investors and domain experts
- Coordination with partners across industry government and research to strengthen the programs ecosystem impact
TUM Venture Labs Program Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of the scouting and selection process for incoming cohorts including applicant outreach screening and selection committee preparation
- Oversight of marketing activities including LinkedIn content and website updates for consistent external communication
- Planning and execution of program events: agenda design speaker selection format and operational logistics
Your profile
- Masters degree or equivalent ideally in Aerospace Engineering Engineering Sciences Physics or a comparable technical field; a business background with a strong technical orientation is equally welcome
- Professional experience in project management or roles requiring strong coordination and organizational skills
- Understanding of startup ecosystems and the ability to critically evaluate business models
- Genuine interest in space deep tech and the commercial space economy
- Ability to engage credibly and at eye level with founders corporates and institutional stakeholders
- Structured self-directed working style with a strong focus on execution and delivery
- Proficiency with project management tools particularly Notion
- Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus
