DevOps & Technical Governance Manager

Job Description

A leading organisation is recruiting for a DevOps & Technical Governance Manager to play a critical role in shaping and stabilising a fast-growing engineering environment. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives at the intersection of DevOps systems architecture governance and developer enablement within modern AI-assisted development environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and delivery frameworks.
• Embed automated testing security checks and quality controls into deployment processes.
• Define and enforce engineering standards across React PHP Python and MySQL environments.
• Implement monitoring logging and observability solutions to improve reliability and visibility.
• Support and mentor developers by introducing practical tooling templates and best practices.
• Establish governance frameworks for AI-assisted development and production-ready coding standards.
• Assist with cloud migration initiatives from Azure to Huawei Cloud while maintaining system stability.
• Collaborate closely with technical leadership to drive scalable engineering practices and delivery consistency.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Solid full-stack technical understanding across React PHP Python and MySQL.
• Experience working within cloud environments particularly Azure.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK.
• Strong systems thinking problem-solving and technical governance capabilities.
• Ability to mentor developers and introduce structure without slowing delivery.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools will be advantageous.
