Job Title: Oracle EBS Finance Functional Experts (Financials)

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of regular education

Position Description: This role is primarily responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Financial modules ensuring stability and efficiency of business operations. Team members will focus on configuring new features to meet evolving business requirements as well as developing comprehensive test strategies and executing test plans to validate enhancements and changes. The position demands a proactive approach to system upkeep feature deployment and quality assurance supporting both operational needs and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Oracle EBS R12.2 Functional Expertise (Financials)
oDeep hands on experience with Oracle E Business Suite R12.2 specializing in Financial modules across Procure to Pay (P2P) and Record to Report (R2R) process areas.
Functional Knowledge of Financial Modules
oStrong working knowledge of:
Accounts Payables (AP)
Purchasing (PO)
iProcurement (iProc)
Oracle General Ledger (GL)
Fixed Assets (FA)
iSupplier Portal
Cash Management
Functional Customization
oExpertise in designing and developing solutions using Oracle technologies such as:
PL/SQL OAF BI Publisher Workflow Builder.
oHands on experience in analyzing designing coding testing and deploying custom objects and extensions.
EBS Upgrades & Patch Management
oExperience performing patch impact analysis and supporting EBS CPU/RPC patching including:
R12.2 online patching concepts (ADOP)
CPU (Critical Patch Update) and RUP (Rollup Patch) application
oResponsible for validating custom code performing retrofits and ensuring successful post patch functional testing.
Integrations & APIs
oStrong experience designing building and supporting integrations using:
Oracle public APIs Web Services REST/SOAP integrations EDI and flat file interfaces.
oGood understanding of PGP encryption connectivity parameters secure file transfers and partner integration setup.
Non Functional Requirements & Cross Team Collaboration
oExperience driving non functional requirements (NFRs) related to performance scalability security audit controls and operational readiness.
oWork closely with business teams security architecture and infrastructure to ensure end to end solution quality.
Software Development Lifecycle
oStrong understanding of SDLC processes
oAbility to own deliverables independently with minimal supervision.
Agile Delivery Experience
oPractical knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) participating in sprints backlog grooming estimation and daily standups.

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 Financial modules.
Expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes.

Strong technical development experience using:
oPL/SQL

Experience in analyzing designing developing testing and deploying custom Oracle EBS objects and extensions.
Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 online patching (ADOP).
Experience in CPU/RUP patching patch impact analysis retrofitting and post-patch validation.
Strong experience with Oracle APIs Web Services REST/SOAP integrations EDI and flat file interfaces.
Knowledge of secure integrations including PGP encryption and secure file transfer mechanisms.
Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance scalability security audit and operational readiness.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments.
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Good to have:
CI/CD Pipeline Experience
oWorking knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab).
oExperience automating build and deployment processes for Oracle custom components.
Data Purging Experience
oExperience in handling transaction data purging in EBS Finance modules (AP GL Inventory Fixed Assets)
