City Academy Norwich are seeking anEnhanced SEND Provision/Nurture Teacher (SEMH or Cognition and Learning).

The Role

You will:

  • be responsible for teaching classes in the academy using your skill experience and best endeavours and in accordance with Teachers Standards
  • lead the daytoday running of our nurture classroom delivering highly personalised specialist and differentiated learning
  • inspire motivate and champion students with SEND ensuring they feel safe welcomed and supported
  • develop a bespoke curriculum aligned with wholeschool provision enabling increased access to mainstream learning
  • work collaboratively with the SENDCo support staff external agencies and feeder schools to ensure continuity of care progress and transition
  • contribute to the wider life of the academy including supporting extracurricular activities and wholeschool initiatives.
